There is no denying that American-style food has had a profound effect on cooking worldwide! No, I’m not just saying fast food, either! Native American cuisine such as a hot dog with a Coney Island style, potato chips, fried chicken, and frozen hamburgers are just a few, though not all American, that have reached the world with a bang in America. 

Here is one American recipe:

Pecan Pie


Ingredients:

3 eggs

3/4 cup caster sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 cup of breast syrup

2 tbsp salt-free butter

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/4 cups pecans

1 (10-inch) pie crust (unbaked)


Guidelines:

Beat the eggs together, then add the corn syrup, powdered sugar, and brown sugar. Melt the butter and add it to the egg mixture. Mix well while adding to the vanilla and pecans. Carefully pour the mixture into the pie crust (you don't want to overfill it). Bake at 350 degrees F for about 50 minutes, or until the pie is set. Allow the pie to cool before serving. Traditionally served with vanilla ice cream.
